Considering how much cursing goes on in corners in between rounds, this makes no sense at all.

If someone got offended for him cursing then they shouldn't even be watching boxing in the first place, corner men curse all the time like the other user said. How are swear-words going to offend someone? But no someone beat the ever living **** out of each other? So violence is alright but cursing is not?Comment

just imagine if this rule applied to MMA/UFC

6 months does seem kinda excessive, but I honestly don't mind it as emotional or not, using excessive profanity on telivision just comes across as kinda childish IMO.Comment
