Considering how much cursing goes on in corners in between rounds, this makes no sense at all.

to be honest, boxing should try to appeal to a wider market BUT so the **** what if someone swears for ****s sake?

If someone got offended for him cursing then they shouldn't even be watching boxing in the first place, corner men curse all the time like the other user said. How are swear-words going to offend someone? But no someone beat the ever living **** out of each other? So violence is alright but cursing is not?

What a joke. I laugh at these idiots who imposed this sanction. Laugh at them.

                      what the bleep?

on another note I don't mind it terribly much

just imagine if this rule applied to MMA/UFC

Dana White would never be allowed to speak in public.

6 months does seem kinda excessive, but I honestly don't mind it as emotional or not, using excessive profanity on telivision just comes across as kinda childish IMO.
