It all depends on what happens in the first 3 rounds. If Cotto can withstand Pac's speed and adjust to it with good D and body shots he has a chance later on in the fight. Pac has a better chance of winning by a stoppage or KO in the early rounds because of that straight left. If Cotto lands big body shots Pac is gonna slow down. If Pac slows down, Cotto is gonna use his power. Either way this fight is going to end in a KO or stoppage. But there is always what ifs. I sure as hell cant decide who I'am predicting to win.

as much as I like cotto I think pac is going to win. If cotto's best punch was his right hand I might think differently.

i share exactly the same thoughts. in my eyes this was all set up to play out like this since the de la hoya fight. the fight sounds good on paper due to the way they paved mannys way to make it look like he had an actual shot against a true welterweight like cotto. now hbo is doing the same thing they did with pac in 24/7. portraying him as the next hyped boxing superstar, leading up to talks of a fight against none other than - floyd mayweather. not to mention in his recent interview, first thing mayweather said was " i wanna fight cotto " - whether he really meant it or will happen or etc. that's the first name that came out of his mouth to defend himself against the accusations RA was making of him ducking fighters.

it's a business and the money cow time for pacquiao is near its end. people from the inside know what awaits next and if you take at least a day to do your own research and analysis on both fighters - you'll come to the conclusion mannys chances of winning are slim to none. aside from fanaticism, carefully analyze pacquiaos fights and you'll find there's nothing to make you believe he stands a chance against cotto or a true welterweight for that matter. you'll notice you fell into the hype and into the business game.
