I believe he got a light setence and is getting credit for time served. It is suprising he got a light sentence since it was a federal charge they usually just go by the book and the book when you have priors is pretty harsh.

12 or 16 months and he has already been servering for like 4 or 5 months then if he is good he will get released to a half-way house a couple months early. I think by this time next year he will be fighting again.

That is the whole story, it was 24 month and he had already served 6 cutting it to 18 then he could get 3 more months taken off if he is good in a half way house but he would be able to resume his career at that point.

That story is from a month ago so it would be 14 months.

Kirkland is a beast. He got hooked up on his sentencing because of all the support he had from Golden Boy Promotion's high ranking officials (Oscar De La Hoya). Cant wait to see him back. Dudes gonna kill people when he gets back. Lets hope he grows up

that govt money for prisons is running dry and the ************* have no other incentive for lockin up the "criminals" of society if they pose no immediate threats to their communities. Dump all stock in correctional facilities and go with something renewable!
