Holyfield was a very dirty fighter but when all said and done real fighters dont complain and then get discouraged, they suck it up and prove they can still adapt and come out on top regardless, that is what great fighters do.

Sometimes you dont get the benefit of the doubt from the ref but that happens to all fighters, they dont capitulate like Tyson though.

Great fighters adapt and overcome adversity, Mike Tyson never did that because he was not great.

By who? Larry Holmes?? I find it funny that people always bring up him moving up to hw as evidence of doping. He fought as a cw before that! It's only a few pounds up, or was back then. It's not like he went from 190 to 235!

Listen it's a proven fact that Holyfield did steroids. He bought testosterone from a doctor in Georgia under the alias Evan Fields.

Was saying this in another thread that I found his steroid usage awful. Hated how he beat Big George Foreman easily in an unfair fight.

Cheating in the ring is different. It's up to the ref. to take care of that.

he butted Lewis in their rematch, he buttet Rahman big time, against Tyson he was throwing low blows and using headbutts.

hes was a smart fighter but dirty also. the ref should have taken ponts from him in the rematch against Tyson.-
