Valuev's reputation is that he doesn't punch anywhere near his weight, which seems a bit of a puzzle, or the guy just doesn't follow through when he throws. Pushing rather than punching with "snap". I can visualise him missing and throwing himself off balance, slow to recover balance, probably because of his ponderous style.
