I'm not a Mayweather fan, so I'm not posting this to defend him.

But after listening to RA Rugged Man a few times now, I've concluded he's just a lowly piece of white trash and nothing he says should be taken very seriously.

Floyd "Money" Mayweather will take the fight that makes him the most money, possibly Hatton in England. RA is naive to believe that Floyd should care about what people think - Money will do what he thinks is best for himself.

Personally I'd like to see Mayweather fight the best out there and Hatton isn't really an elite fighter. It would basically be the same thing as Mayweather rematching Gatti in my opinion.

On the flipside, it would generate a lot of money, so I can appreciate the financial logic. I think they both already know the outcome of the fight though so for both Hatton and Mayweather it's as if they're extorting money from the fans which I just don't agree with.

As far as RA goes, I used to listen to his stuff in the late 90's/early 2000, always thought he was a talented artist. His altercation with Mayweather was very disrespectful but a lot of that is because he was on a radio station where that type of drama is pretty common, and also RA has always had a crazy personality, or at least portrayed his image that way. What he said to Mayweather was mild compared to some of his lyrics.

He kind of gives some background as to what he was doing at the radio station etc.. kind of a pre-fight hype to the whole Mayweather call..

Regardless, From what I listened to Ra knows his history and he knows Floyd is selling himself short.

He hit the nail on the head when he said Floyd can't be considered one of the greatest because hes not fighting anyone, he raised the fact that even if he won't fight Cotto or Pac because of Arum there are challanges in Williams and Mosley. I loved Ras line about the amount of KOs Archie Moore had and when Floyd tried to defend his match making saying "all these guys are beating each other but nobody has beat Floyd Mayweather" Ra was perfect in saying its because Floyd isn't fighting them.

He knows Floyd is extremely talented and may well win everyone of these match ups but he expressed what I think all boxing fans are expressing. Frustration at the most skilled man in years refusing to fight the best challanges.

To be honest I think he sounded pretty knowledgable on his boxing history and he was only saying what 99% of people think. If Mayweather is as good as he says he is then why wont he prove it? We don't want to see him beating Baldomir, De La Hoya, Hatton and Marquez. We want to see him beat Mosley, Cotto, Margarito and Paul Williams.

Mayweather never shows anybody respect so why should R.A respect him? Floyd expects everybody to lick his arse and I think the fact that R.A just told him straight is the reason this interview is getting so much attention
