I figured he threw fewer punches to allow fewer opportunities for his opponent to catch him when he moved up to WW... but, he did the same against JMM, who he surely shouldn't have been worried about power-wise...

My guess would be, that was the reason to begin with, and now it's muscle memory and mentality. I'm hoping we get to see your question tested sometime soon enough...

That maybe so but Floyd is a better ring technician and has waaaay
better defense and counter punching abilities than Pacquiao. Lil
Pac would get a boxing lesson I'm sure when/if that fight happens.

I concur. Not liking Floyd is undestandable and a person's perogative
BUT that sig is not a good look AT ALL no matter Floyd hater or not.

Why do so many keep bringing up the first Castillo fight because
it was made clear Floyd injured himself and on top of that he gave
Castillo a rematch and beat him soundly when Castillo weighed
147LBS on fight night and Floyd weighed 138LBS. In actuality
Floyd beat a bigger, stronger Castillo more convincingly the 2nd
time so he proved he was the better fighter. Manny Pacquiao
had two close fights with Juan Manuel Marquez, knock him down
a total of 4 times in 2 fights and still got a draw and a questionable
win the 2nd time that could have went to Marquez. I mean, I know
Floyd is not perfect and he should fight some of the more talented
guys at WW but people need to stop trying to make things up to
support their hatred towards this guy because it's just a sport
but I'm noticing people have really serious grudges against Floyd.
I guess that's why he makes so much cash because he has so much
hate. Anyways, Pac/Floyd would be a good fight for mainstream
Boxing but Floyd would school Pacquiao, the real fights are with
Floyd/Cotto and or Floyd/Mosley. I much rather prefer to see him
fight a true WW than a catch weight one.

Maybe it may be down to the fact that Castillio is washed up but dosen't realize it, and due to this Pac is beating him up and Castillio thinks it is because how good Pac is not because he is wahsed up.

Mayweather fought a prime Castillio. Manny is sparring a washed up one.

It's very easy to see why JLC said what he said. Even Ray Charles can see that very clearly.

Coach of the year my ass, jmm owning him & roach telling him to do the exact samething he does in every fight(dubble the jab & trow ur left...he can't handle ur speed son) ummm...mhm
cotto may have better technical skills but pac has natural skills you cant teach, which seperates ordinary fighters from greats.
