Morales/Pac incorporated so much more besides just being a good slugfest.
both arce and hussein are amoung that their weight has to offer aswell
so to say that morales and pac are a level beyond them
    i dont agrree with
the only diff was what weight they fought at and who they were
all four guys are in their divisions top five
i just think arce-hussein was better becuz it was more competetive
not to say pac wasnt tryin
but hussein and arce were goin at it back n forth
i mean at any moment either guy could have gone down
i think threat was less present in the morales pac fight
since pac seemed drained from the early rounds

Sometimes when you have 2 really big names, the fight is built off adrenaline. While Pac and Morales was a action packed fight, I have to say that it was overhyped from what I saw and from what I heard alot of you said that it was. Did any of you that watched the PPV and then watched the replay of the fight think that it wasnt as great as you originally thought. This reminds me a littile of the Oscar and Vargas fight. The fight was built up and it was good and the crowd was into it, but it really wasnt that good of a fight. I heard alot of people that when they watched it back they said that it wasnt as good as they thought and there were alot of misses and non full fledge blows but the crowd would still go crazy because it looked like they were doing something or going to do something but they were really missing and tapping alot. Now, the Morales and Pac fight was much better then that one, I still think that it was nothing compared to Gatti and Ward or the first MAB and Morales fight like they try to compare it to.

So my 2 questions are did you think it was as great as you originally thought when you watched it back, and did you think it was better then Arce and Hussein or did it just have the bigger names
Honestly . . . yes it was great but not as great as I originally thought.

Arce and Hussein? Action wise I'll say it's just about even . . . but excitement wise that EM/PAC fight still incomparable.

Arce and Hussein are on Morales/Pacs level? Thats news to me...

The Pac/Morales fight was competitive the entire time. I don't think there was a single moment where I knew Morales had it wrapped up. Both guys were eating bombs the whole time...Arce/Hussein sounds like it was the same thing...and maybe even a little more action packed...but Pac/Morales is just on a different scale.

arce fight was much more competive

          plus

Ive seen both two times, I still say morales - pac was the better fight, Hussein-Arce was exciting because it became a great fight, out of nowhere, nobody was really expecting that fight to be great, Morales pac, IMO, lived up to all the hype, Ive seen it twice, and i dont get tired of watching it,with morales-pac its kind of a tug-o-war between the boxer and the puncher, that ****s exciting to watch.I think the reason people can maybe like hussein arce more is because there was a KO,and it was fun to watch, but it wasnt nearly as great a fight as M/P.

True I havent seen it...but if it really outdoes Morales/Pacquiao then that's pretty crazy. I've really always been the guy who favors a very good fight between two elite fighters over a great fight between two nice fighters. Kinda like I liked MAB/Morales I more than Gatti/Ward I.

IMO Pac-Morales had the potential to be gatti-Ward 1, Hagler-Hearns but Morales backed out as their style mixed perfectly. All through pre-fight talk Morales kept saying "Im ready for war" but come fight night he actually fought a very tactical fight and going to war now and then when he knows hes got pacman. Not taking anything away from Morales, he fought a great fight and what he did on the 12th took some serious balls. I can't remember anyone in boxing who would take on such a risky move from a guy who has serious reputation for punching power.

I haven't seen Acre vs Hussein and need to get it somehow Fight of the year award, if its purely between acre-hussen vs pac-morales, pac-morales will take it purely based on their level and hype. Not saying it wasnt a good fight, it was a great fight.
