If Cotto has that hunger, Santiago better bring some Burger Kings for him on the night fight because after Pacquiao smash him the hunger will be bigger.

remember DLH choose pac and not the other way around...it was dlh gave the 147 limit...not pac...why blame pac if he beat a weight drained DLH?? was it his fault?? sure dude clottey is tough as nails and can beat dlh...but pac went up the weight...why not cotto go up to junior middleweight or middleweight how would u think he would fare against pwill and most of the guys in mw??? since pac was doing the same from 130 to 145...make cotto go up to 160 and lets see what happens..
So many things just flat out wrong with this post, where to start...

      1. Yes, DLH picked Pac and no one is blaming Manny for that, however, it doesn't take away from the fact that DLH WAS drained and old. Whether or not Manny makes the fight doesn't matter, because the DLH Manny beat was nowhere near the same level he was back in the 99 or even when he fought Mayweather. Its not Manny's fault, but its exactly what happened you might like it but that's the way it is.

      2. Manny after facing Marquez the second time HAS faced sub-par competition. Diaz... the only real Diaz, at least at the time, was the Baby Bull. Yes, I'm sure he still would have lost, however, Manny would have had a much tougher time than he did against the ****ty one, hands down. I already touched on DLH, as for Pac vs. Hatton. He is in the same exact boat as DLH. After the Mayweather fight he was never the same, he wasn't any good to begin with just a huge money maker, but he was even worse after the Mayweather loss. Just look at his last two previous fights before the Paq fight, he about got KO'd by Lazcano (a nobody) and he his "win" over Paulie was stopped by Paulies corner more out of boredom than anything else. It was obvious to anyone who knows boxing Manny was going to KO him. (I agreed with Roach and said within 3 rounds.)

      3. Cotto started his career at 106 just like Manny did. So having him move up to 160 would be like Manny moving up to 160. However, lets say Cotto never fought at 140 (he has moved up) and just say he's been at 147 his whole career. If he was to move up to MW, he would get to choose his opponent like Manny did, and Manny chose the guy who was closest in size to him. Maybe a Winky Wright... I'd give Cotto a pretty solid shot at Winky, it be a tough fight, but Clottey is just as big as Winky, but with more power. Also, if you're in the WW division and the only two people you have left to fight are Manny and Mayweather (like Cotto) why the hell would you leave? This is THE money division in boxing right now, and Cotto's faced anyone and everyone in the division with still more to prove. Most guys move up because they've run out of competition or want big money, its the same reason Manny moved up. Asking Cotto to move up is just ******, the two best P4P are in his division... why in the hell would he leave?

And the dude is like 31 now, the whole point is that its in the past. No one comes in here and says... "So and so better beat Mayweather because Mayweather used to be a lightweight." Its crap they are both fighting at 145 and for Manny its his third fight in the 140ish range, but what people complete ignore is that Manny HAS been fighting at 140ish since for quite some time because on fight night at least for JMM/Paq II he weighed in at 142 I believe. Stop being fooled by where he used to fight the guy is made for the JWW and WW divisions.
