Is there a good reason why we the boards aren't lit up over the Perez/Agbeko fight???

I think so too. And I can't imagine better money options for either guys than a rematch.

The thing about the lower divisions is things usually don't get held up by money as much as the higher weights because they pretty much know they are going to get a smaller slice of the pie so usually they fight.

No one is making Michael Carbajal money these days south of lightweight, not even Izzy or Rafa in their great trilogy.

Yohnny ain't no punk. He said he'd take it afterwards too.

This can be an Izzy/Rafa trilogy all over again.
Perez is the truth. Saying that Agbeko is a bad son of a *****, and seemes to not take it too seriously early. If Showtime had punch count, I think that would have broke punch stat numbers.

The only guy in the equation is Hozumi Hasegawa..

Outside of him, bantam is all about Yohnny and Joseph now.

They set the standard last night.

Street bully, Mangler jr. said the reason Joseph lost was cuz' he was mangwangin' too many hoes prior to the fight.

If Joseph stops mangwangin', I can't even imagine how brutal he will be.

Joseph is a ****in beast. King Kong is the best name for him.

Motha****a is the truth. He didn't lose **** last night. He fought like a champ.

That was a close ass fight.

I thought it was a great fight, and as the general consensus thought Perez won but by far too much of a margin on the cards. Maybe that's why it isn't being talked about so much, it was a close fight but fairly obvious Perez won and while the scoring was off, they still got it right. However, I really started giving less of a **** when I saw Don King was the promoter and instantly thought the cards were like that as Perez is a bigger draw than Agbeko in boxing. Not the fighters themselves, but just the name... Hispanic more $$$ than Ghana any day of the week. Add to the fact that I don't trust a thing that King is involved in and I know for it that alone hurt the fight/fighters.

Honestly it shows you how ****ed up posters here are, I was at a halloween party, and I took 36 mins off to watch the fight, I was thinking I would catch two rounds and if it was dull leave, but I couldn't believe the actio, and watched it all, neglecting all women in the process.

Actually bantam overall is a really good division. You can add Abner Mares, Fernando Montiel, and Eric Morel to the equation. And, if Nonito Donaire moves up then it will be very deep. The Cuban fighter Rigendeux(Spelling?) only has like 4 fights but he looks like he is ready to have a big step up.

Perez-Agbeko was a real good fight. Perez fought the wrong fight from the get go. He is more of a mover and a boxer. But, he fought Agbeko fight which surprised me. I knew Agbeko was tough. I didn't know Perez was that tough though. I would love to see a rematch.

It was on Showtime. You have to watch the fight whenever you get the chance. It nothing but action from the start.
