Is it just me, or does Antonio Margarito have better hand speed back when he was that young? I don't really like Margarito, but I think this guy would've been more successful if he would've got his shot at the big time sooner than what he did. Just imagine what would've happened to Cotto if he had to fight that version of Margarito. We'd be reading his eulogy right now.

That was about 8 years and 20 fights ago for Martinez. The difference from then and now is visible.

Today's Martinez wouldn't get taken apart that easy.

P-Will gets hit a lot with overhand lefts and right hooks from southpaws. I got Williams UD, but it won't be easy.

That's how I see the fight playing out with Williams. Except Williams has faster hands than Margs. I just don't see Martinez beating an elite pressure fighter.

                O.o

I wouldn't be surprise if people discredit this win using the plaster excuse which maybe true.

I was never sold on Martinez and I don't know what all the hype about him is.

Can anyone recommend a Martinez fight against a top 10 P4P guy that he beat?

The Margarito that fought Cintron the 1st time would of destroyed Cotto easily. My opinion.
