iT'S TELLING THAT WHILE dIRELL LANDED THE MORE SHOTS AT THE END OF THE FIGHT FROCH DIDN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE HE HAD BEEN IN A FIGHT WHILE DIRELL CERTAINLY DID

so now we score boxing on the way someone looks after a fight?
Dirrell was never hurt. Froch was.
Never said Dirrell won by a large margin. He only has himself to blame for losing the fight by holding and evading excessively. but he was the better boxer in that fight hands down.

Nothing would fit Froch's style worse than an effective counterpuncher like Abraham.

lmao you should read your posts...

I didnt say froch landed alot...but the poit being is, you have to land alot more than 39 punches to bloody the nose lips and create swelling under the eye..froch hits hard, but thats god mode if he can do that with only landing 39...and ill assume those alleged 39 punches half of them were to the body..

Fact is showtime didnt make a fuss aboutt he result, even gary shaw effectively admitted froch won..and certainly admitted it was no robbery and they ****ed up tactically...

Shogun verses machida, calzaghe hopkins, robin reid calzaghe are robberies..this my friend was robbery that it was a split decision...all 3 judges should have scored it to froch, by 3 rounds to be precise..

I was actually at the fight, which means i can score it alot better than you, and live i had froch up by 6, re watching on tv i had froch up by 3..with dirrell not winning one round..

which makes you what i have thought of you all along. a biased froch nuthugger. thanks for clearing things up im done arguing with another thick headed froch fan.
The split decision was warranted. If it was a street fight Froch would have won. But this is a boxing match. But as i said before Dirrell only has himself to blame.Good day.

Whoa Whoa Whoa!! Calzaghe beat Reid comfortably, and thats coming from a guy who was a Reid nuthugger at the time, the only controvercy in that fight was that Paul thomas was allow to keep his Judges licence.

Post fight Reid sat on teh apron and said the better fighter won the fight he was too good for me, all the boxing press had it for calzaghe, it wasn't even a close fight to be honest Joe just slowed down after he hurt his hands.

the fact is Paul Thomas is an appauling judge and this wasn't his first or his last total brainfart, which why he is a womans boxing judge these days.

Nah it has come to early for Dirrell this tournament. Dirrell may become a great boxer further down the line but not in this tournament.

If he does think he can duke it out and not run he may find himself on the canvas more often than not.

Ho i just pulled the BBC report on teh Calzaghe Vs Reid fight: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sport/279246.stm

Reid said: "I can't argue with the decision. Joe was the better boxer on the night and I knew I could not catch him for speed."
