pbf is a small WW, even his own father hsa said he belongs in the 140lb division

imo its only because pbf was fighting jmm (a naturally smaller opponent) that he set the weight limit so high at 147. imo if he had been fighting a cotto or a SSM pbf would have tried to make the fight at 144 or 143.

i do think that physically he can make 143 or maybe even 140 but i think years of watching his weight and constantly being in the gym have taken their toll on floyd. i dont think mentally he has the hunger to make the sacrfices to cut weight.

I would say Mayweather has grown into the WW division these days. He isn't a huge WW like Clottey or Marg, but I think he's adjusted to that weight now, and I have a feeling he'd struggle to get down to 140 these days...

thats a fair point, some of that mass would be very hard to shift now but i still think hes smaller than clottey, cotto, williams and mosley. i think he could make 143 at a stretch.
