Agbeko vs. Perez was a great fight, who saw this?

Anyone who watched last night was treated to a great fight. I can't believe more people are talking about 24/7 on here. This fight was non stop combinations and power punches. There was times where both men appeared vulnerable, but neither was about to give in.

Boxing scene said it right, definitely a fight of the year candidate.

It was also nice to see the judges get it right for once. Even though the scores were a little wider than I and most saw the fight, Perez deserved the win and I'm happy for him.

There were a good number of us who did a round by round last night.

It was a very good fight. I had Perez winning, but I thought the scores, specificlly the 117-110 scores, were wide.

There were a good number of close rounds, and those two scores indicate that they gave a lot, if not all, of them to Perez.

      I had it 115-112 Perez.

Yeah, I watched this live on Showtime last night. I missed a cool Halloween party because I was partying the last two nights and was too tired to go out. Was a blessing in disguise. The Showtime card was excellent. FOTY candidate for real.

Like everybody else said, 117-110 is a joke. Quite a few rounds too close to call almost.

Anybody else notice how paranoid Showtime got with Agbeko's ring entrance? I think they got scared on some racial **** just because "King Kong" came into the ring in a Kong mask chained up to a hot white girl. I mean, it was Halloween last night. He ain't the first dude to wear a costume into the ring. But who knows, I was enjoying some herb last night so maybe I'm reading too much into it...

Anyways, a great night for boxing.

Caught it via stream in the kitchen of a house that was throwing a prty last night. Great fight. I had it 6-6 with the KD making the difference. No way was it 116-111 117-110.

I was very surprised that Al Bernstein came out with that spiel about not 'offending anyone' and that 'the entrance was to do with the promotional company'. I'm sure it was a Showtime executive whispering in his ear to do that.

Anyway, amazing fight. Non stop action.

I would be very interested if there are punch statistics anywhere for this fight as it must have been one of the most high volume 12 round fights of all time...

Yep, exactly. That **** was way too much. They're really underestimating their audience trying to talk to them like that.

We get the obvious racial and slavery connotations, but were not taking it seriously since the guy's nickname is King Kong, PLUS....its ***ing Halloween.

              Were not that ****** Al..

That chick was suuuuuper hot too.

              :wank:

I second that. Why doesn't Showtime do punch statistics?

The past two fights would've been interesting. Froch vs. Dirrell, it would've been nice to see because it was so close. Agbeko vs. Perez because of the sheer ridiculous amount of punches thrown. Somebody was getting in just about every second of that fight.
