    GAtti is overrated

Gatti is the one fighter who benefits the most from having the weigh-in the day before the fight.. His extra weight is a big part of what carries him in fights!! Why do you think he is powerful.. On fight day vs. DLH their weight was about the same and he got ripped up in 5 rounds. Don't get too excited about Gatti vs Mayweather. I have a feeling Gatti might hurt his hand, or seperate his shoulder a week or two before hand

    Yes. Overrated.

I do not understand, for the life of me. Exactly why some people think he is a "top notch" fighter. They obviously have never seen his fights before the Ward3/Dorin/Leija where he domintated bigger bums than himself. This is the same fighter who was blown out of the water by DlH, and lost to a host of mediocre fighters. He lacks skill, (and its hilarious when people say he has). I suppose it will take Mayweather tearing his head completely off, to make them realize he is not that good of a fighter.

I agree... Gatti is OVER-RATED and he's being very protected at the moment! Leija etc... He also has a punches chance against Mayweather - And we all know that Mayweather can't hurt Gatti.

3 exciting fights against an old Micky Ward doesn't make you Kostya Tszyu!

Why can't Mayweather hurt Gatti? Robinson, Manfredy, Ruelas and a few others have all hurt Gatti. Mayweather is a harder puncher then all three of those men.

Well, for those who saw his earlier fights, like me, you have to agree that he has improved in skill. Yes, he lost to Ward, DLH, twice to Ivan Robinson, and Angel Manfredy (at his best, I must say), but he has learned much under Buddy McGirt and now moves much better than he used to.

I'm not trying to say that he is a great fighter, but he isn't the same fighter he used to be when he brawled because he lacked skill to fight. Now he is a more complete fighter.

He'll still get dominated by PBF, but he would still do good against many fighters out there.

hes not there for his skills just for his heart and willingness to take punishment... something that he dont do nowadays.

Arturo Gatti is IMO the worst defensive fighter in boxing. He leads with his head, and has zero ability to avoid punches. Leather would be his preferred entree if he were to ask for his last supper. Mayweather is going to give him so many servings of seconds, that Gatti will choke.

I am a Gatti fan but I am scared of him fighting mayweather. This fight could be career ending for him (gatti)

There goes some Gatti hating again!

You say he suck but would never miss one of his fight

He's not over rated! Nobody in his right state of mind puts him in his top 10 p4p. But he comes to fight and that's what we like.

What's the point to **** on the last fighter who get boxing some attention?
