Cotto on fight night, we would be the same size. But, he's naturally bigger than me. I walk around 160+ due to living a sedentary lifestyle, lol.
Anyway, in my current condition, I don't have a prayer. Back in the day, I'd simply go Muay Thai on his @ss and go for the takedown. I realize Cotto is one strong dude, but, I am guessing he ain't got no skills on the ground and he would solely rely on instincts and athletic ability. Grappling would give me some type of chance, how much, I have no clue. But, I know it's better than standing up against him.
Why do I even think I might have a slight chance if it was me in tip-top shape? Several reasons a)I am a southpaw b) My Muay Thai is decent c) I have a wrestling background d) I've faced a few fighters who I think had the quickness that's comparable to Cotto's.
Was I able to beat those guys that I felt compares to Cotto's speed? No, but, since we're talkin' street fight, well, I actually have a more diverse attack than Cotto. Can he properly block my kicks, chances are, I'm better on the ground than he is.
