Haye's doing this because he can get a much fairer deal with K2 if he holds the WBA belt and because it's an easier fight. This is the best way toward his goal of being Undisputed.
I'll forgive Haye for backing out of the Klitschko fights if he can get that belt away from Valuev. That guy is proof why holding an alphabet belt does not make you a champion.
