The thicker and bigger he gets, the less his speed is going to be a factor. Looks like they're trying to get him bigger than what he was against Oscar. Might be a bad move.

What do you want him to do? Not bulk up and get pounded even more?

You can bulk up, but that's why there's weight classes and why I think Pacquiao fighting a real WW is going to be a much bigger problem that people aren't really paying attention to. Even in the Hatton fight, he weighed in at 138 and 142 for Oscar. They gotta keep him at a weight where he can transfer all his abilities and not sacrifice one attribute for the other just to be a thicker build for the fight.

I'm paying attention. However Pacquiao has to bulk to a certain degree. You cannot expect him to look like when he fought Hatton. He'd be too small.

              1) That's not from Oct. 30
              2) His speed will still be there

But how much bigger is he going to be and be able to keep all his abilities in tact? Why do you think there was a catch weight set instead of the actual WW limit? A lot of people look at it from Cotto's perspective of being naturally bigger and making a level playing field for Pac, but ironically people don't mention that Pacquiao going too far up in weight may be a risky move on himself. But we'll see.

Trust me speed and not bigger size is what you will need against cotto.
YOu beat Hatton and dlh because you was faster and your punches landed. If you was slower those punches wouldnt have landed and you woulndt have stopped them.
Punches need to reach the intended target, and that is achieved partly by speed, as well as accuracy and everything else which you should know about pac.
