Here is what Floyd should've said to RA Ruggedman

Here is a couple of rebuttal's Floyd should've said during that Radio exchange. Remember don't hold this against me, this aren't neccessarly my views. I'm just putting myself into Floyd's shoes, if I were him and what I would say to defend myself:

    1. On fighting a smaller man in Marquez

Floyd: "Me fighting Marquez is no different than Sugar Ray Leonard fighting a Roberto Duran - who was also a lightweight champ moving up to 147. The only difference, it took Leonard two fights to do what I did to Marquez in one, and that's outbox him"

    2. On takling about money, not fighting Mosley

Floyd: "I'm the only honest fighter out here. I tell you it's about the money, which it is. Guys like Mosley will never tell you that. Even though he wants the money just as bad. Why aint he accepting Paul Williams's challange unstead of chasing me or Pacquiao? Because it's too big of a risk and he won't get paid like he would fighting me or Pacquiao. Everybody is in it for the money. "

    3. "All of my opponents are underdogs, that's how good I am. I'm always favored againt everybody. You can't hold that against me."

    4. "Mosley was still undefeated in 1999, get your facts straight"

    5. "Hopkins the best of this generation? Hopkins fighting everybody? Please, you just criticised me for fighting smaller fighters yet Bernard Hopkins's biggest wins are against smaller fighters coming up, like Trinidad and Delahoya. Hopkins is 6'1 and been fighting smaller middleweights and blown up welterweights the majority of you career. Jermain Taylor, The one guy that was his size at 160, he lost to twice."

Floyd critics lets play a game, if any of you are open-minded/objective enough and can put your Anti-Floyd hats off for a minute, and pretend you were Floyd and had to defend yourself against Ruggedman.

    What would you have said?

    here's the rebuttal:

yeah, but duran had fought at 147 before... jmm was jumping 2 weight divisions and he had no business at WW.

    2. On takling about money, not fighting Mosley

Floyd: "I'm the only honest fighter out here. I tell you it's about the money, which it is. Guys like Mosley will never tell you that. Even though he wants the money just as bad. yeah, but you're already rich. time to fight for legacy.
    3. "All of my opponents are underdogs, that's how good I am. I'm always favored againt everybody. You can't hold that against me."
yeah, but that doesn't mean you can avoid mosley, cotto, clottey, etc...

    4. "Mosley was still undefeated in 1999, get your facts straight"
    so what, fight him today.

    5. "Hopkins the best of this generation? Hopkins fighting everybody? Hopkins went up to 175 and beat up Tarver easy. He also beat Glen Johnson who Calz ducked 3x and who gave Chad Dawson all he could hand, and who also KTFO RJJ. And he fought calz, who pbf said he should have ducked (no surprise coming from a ducker).

Nothing could have been said except to tell RA he is right.

Floyd needs to learn to think before he talks because he sounds ****** sometimes.

Floyd said what he had to say, he stated stats. And Floyd did say that Mosley was undefeated in 1999.

I'm going to stand by this, the mic was def a big issue. It's nice having a clear mic and a bunch of people saying "yeah true" around you, while Floyd sounded like he was talking from inside of a locked car trunk.

Floyd was pissed off for good reasons and anything would come out in the heat of the moment. RA is a jackass.

Like Tua said, Floyd didn't get owned he just got ambushed and caught off guard.
