Collazo already proved Hatton had no buisness at 147!!Clottey is as good as any welterweight champ, too big,too strong, too fast for Hatton,he might even ko the guy!!Just because he hung around for 11 rounds with floyd doesn't mean he is any good at 147,matter of fact Collazo won that fight!!

Man I love hatton , his attitude in the sport is very respected , he faces everybody , and is not scared , But all that criticism is his own fault , I actually thought he had a chance of beating both guys , but he doesnt have any type of defense whatsoever . If only he would jab a lil more and then implied his attack , which is all he pretty much has he would have been a more sucessfull fighter , and that knockout against Mayweather would not be there. He needs to have a strategy a plan , use some defense.

NO just NO, Clottey is a much better fighter than Hatton. He has more boxing skills, a granite chin, an excellent defense, a great uppercut and counter abilities. Plus an underrated power.
Prime Hatton was good, strong and had speed but his defense was weak and he was always susceptible to counter punchers. Clottey would have UD him. If Margarito and Cotto had problems against Clottey, how could you see Hatton beating him?

Turn back the clock.. You wouldn't be saying any of this if Hatton hadn't lost in brutal fashion to Pac, or even lost in embarassing fashion to PBF.

I never used the words "hatton would beat him" I said trouble. He could beat him, its possible. But even in the scenario you say, if Hatton is UD'ed, he might still have moments in the fight where he gives Clottey fits.

Prime hatton had a granite chin as well.. and a smothering offense. Ask Tzsyu..Or have y'all forgot?

Yes, i think they both exposed him. Floyd is the best counter puncher in the business and Pacquiao has reflexes.

Clottey has reflexes and can see when a guy has his hands down, Cotto paid everytime Clottey saw a mouse hole in his defense. Cotto could only beat him by applying smart pressure and selective power punches to steal rounds. IMO Hatton can't do that and can't make adjustments. He either beats you or you beat him.
Tszyu and Clottey are too very different animals too.

I think Hatton doesn't have the style and most of all the SIZE to bother Clottey. To beat Clottey you need to be very strong. Prime Hatton was a very good fighter at 140 but he never carried his strength and punching power at 147.

You should've made this public, I would've have loved to see the ten idiots who voted for Hatton.
