i never heard of this guy until yesterday, and i am a huge hip hop fan.

...And the only reason I've heard of him is because I'm from NYC and went to undergrad on Long Island.

But that is my point. If you go to a hip-hop site, EVERYBODY knows Floyd. If you go to a boxing site, almost NOBODY knows RA.

Now, that isn't to say he's garbage. But he isn't NEARLY as accomplished as Floyd is. Not even in the same universe.

What I don't like is when people who have accomplished very little in their own lives become hyper-critical of others. This board is famous for that.

If it was so easy to reach the top of your profession, then why hasn't RA done it? In radio, in rap, in anything?

At a certain level, you have to give the person the respect they earned.

just lost all respect for him and i was liking what he was doing to floyd. im a fan of mayweather and im not on all this ducking stuff because i believe he is going to make some big fights in the future but it was still funny to me how he was questioning him with no respect. but there again, seeing how he is a ******, i would have loved it if floyd brought that subject up. i cant stand ******s.

You having to look him up and not knowing who he is makes your statement completely irrelevant. RA has never used the word N***a, nor does he even come off like a "******". He's highly respected in Hip Hop's underground scene as well as being one of Europe's big acts when he tours. I'm not sure of any "******s" who make a really good living off his music without being signed to a major. He's a Boxing fan just like the rest of us and expressed opinions a lot of people have. So he raps and is white, that makes him a ****** now? SMH...

Ask yourself who's the biggest selling Rap artist in the last 10 yrs. I'll give you a clue...He's white.
