Review that part again, and you will notice that a Filipino boxer simply could not understand a referee speaking in SPanish.

It doesn't take a moron not to understand a language simply foreign to you. The same would happen to you if I spoke to you in Chinese.
Pacquiao looked worried when he got cut; there was trepidation in his eyes and in his actions. Compared to Arce, who didn't flinch and fought on with an even worse cut than Pacquiao, Pac took a longer time to continue the fight. He wasn't exactly eager to get back to the fight for a while. Even Merchant (who isn't a Morales fan) commented about Pac taking too long.

for all the pac fans still hung up on this
let it go man, i know it's devastating to see your fighter lose(mine just did as well) but it's worse still to dwell on the loss rather than concentrating on moving foward

        Here's a recap of the Arce-Hussein fight ...

"On the undercard, Jorge Arce scored a very controversial stoppage win over Hussein Hussein in their WBC flyweight title elimination bout that turned into a barn burner. Arce was the harder puncher, but Hussein had cut Arce bad on the bridge of his nose with a devastating shot. Not only was Arce losing a lot of blood and weakening, but the fight could have been stopped at any time from the blood going into Arce's eyes. Both fighters were going toe to toe and hurting each other throughout the entire fight, then all the sudden in round 10 Hussein gets knock down, but beats the count and is ready to fight, but his manager Jeff Fenech jumps in and stops the fight."

With an open wound like that, blood splatters all over including from the opponent's gloves into the eyes.

Arce's cut was worse than Pacquiao's and he didn't hesitate one bit to continue fighting like Pac hesitated. I brought this up in my first post on this thread because some Pac fans were claiming Morales got lucky Pac got cut and that's the reason Morales won his fight. The point was Arce got cut worse than Pacquiao and he still won his fight. And the point I was making to nadz in my last two replies to him was that contrary to what he was saying, Arce's gash did pose a problem to his vision (on top of it sapping his energy).

Morales had Pacquiao spitting out blood in his corner by the 3rd round, and in the 5th -- that's when they clashed heads and Manny got cut OVER his right eye.

But a lot of the damage Pacquiao took on the eye (UNDER the eye)happened because of punishment that accumulated over the rounds, unlike Arce which was a major gash from the outset that he got cut up ...

                ...

Pac didn't lose in the fight cuz of the cut...
                  I was goin for pacman
He lost cuz his a one dimensional fighter that has nothin but his left hand, when u circle to the left around him, then he has absolutely nothing...

Pacquiao is not a good fighter...he will lose to Morales any day they fight...the fight wasn't even close...

                  The cut don't mean ****....

By the way I was rooting for Pacquiao that night..
