Salita is rated #50 by boxrec and isn't rated at all by any other independent ratings body. The fact that the WBA has made him a mandatory just illustrates how corrupt their rankings are. Salita has never fought anyone who is not a journeyman, and this fight will do nothing for Khan's credibility or legacy. I don't blame him for taking the fight, given that he's a mandatory, but don't pretend that he's a serious opponent. He's no more serious than Gary Locket was for Pavlik, or Michael Jennings was for Cotto.

Kotelnik was a good win, but his style was made for Khan, and he was only ranked #4 at best in the independent rankings coming into the fight. Until Khan steps up and faces someone who can punch, such as Maidana, or someone ranked above him, such as Bradley, he will not be regarded as a credible champion by any neutral boxing fan.

The point is that no one rates Salita (other than the WBA, whose rankings are corrupt). Boxrec is the only independent rankings body that ranks Salita at all.

Amir Khan is right, Froch couldn't shine his shoes. Froch is jeleous because his fight with Jermaine Taylor one of the biggest names in boxing wasn't televised in Britian, and Khan makes millions each time he fights.
