I Hate To Do it But.... Boxing VS MMA UGHHH.

Don't kill me on this please.. I just wanted to share this link. I think this thread from the biggest MMA forum around is giving them some insight on how much bigger Boxing is worldwide then MMA.

You don't have to take the word of a bunch of MMA fanboys.

Compare an average Saturday on boxrec.com and sherdog.com in terms of the events taking place. Boxing always has 10x more.

I have no problem with MMA BTW.. Not a big fan.. Used to watch a few events, but It got boring IMO...

The problem I have is with the guy's that just started watching UFC, and think it's bar none the biggest thing since fried rice in China. I can't stand the lack of knowledge they possess about boxing or other sport's for that matter. Some of them have never watched sport's before UFC. For example, I have a friend really into UFC. We were talking about it and I gave it some respect, and next thing I know he was saying it's the biggest sport on earth..... I obviously put him in his place, by telling him that single NFL franchises bring in more money then the UFC... Of course he looked at me like I was ******.

I agree theres a big difference between the real mma fans and the ufc fanboys that all jumped on the bandwagon just in the last 3 years. The new ufc fanboys are the least knowledgeable and most disrespectful sports fans in the world.

So I was reading all the posts in their thread and at least everyone said that Boxing is the #1 sport in their country, combing before MMA and even WWE (which Dana White said UFC is bigger than combined WWE & UFC). Even the die hard MMA fans are saying that boxing is still #1. Who said boxing was dead? Dana White is a ****.

It's the losers who haven't even watched spot's before the UFC got big in the last 2 to 3 years. Unfortunaetly there are a lot of them in America now-a-days. Im guessing most of them will die out soon enough..

I don't have a problem with MMA at all, but those guy's saying it is dead and **** are the one's I can't get along with. They are the one's that make me not like MMA, even though I don't hate it.

I believe they are slowly coming around... Yesterday i saw a video of RJJ posted, and guys were like "he is so fast", "OMG". All that ****. Then they were like "maybe i'll try boxing out", "Im gonna watch the BHOp RJJ fight". It was funny, cause it seemed like a lot of them didnt even know who RJJ was.
