IMO Dirrel came to steal the title, not to fight for the title. He was going to stack up rounds by running and get some counters from the distance. Some say he won, some say he didn't that you gotta beat the champ convincingly to get the title. When it comes down to it, it was a **** fight..

froch landed the only decent punches...the whole worlds against froch, i think its because hes young athletic and has the fittest bird in world boxing..

It takes two fighters to make a fight that ugly.
Froch showed his weaknes. He had to close the distance to Dirrell all the time. He doesn't have defense to wait and time his punches, because he would be gunned down the second he wasn't on the offense. It's the only thing he knows.
Froch was out of ballance, didn't get any power behind his shots and altogether he lost to many rounds to a green fighter.

Froch wont make the semi's.

First of all, Froch never stunned Dirrell to the point of wobbling him. Dirrell did wobble Froch.

Second of all, punchstats say that Dirrell landed favorably/comparably.

Third of all, you're probably right about the chick, though.

He beat Froch's ass by a landmile. Please stop acting as if it was a close fight awarded to the champion, it was not the case. Dirrell outlanded Froch by 70% and that's what boxing is about. Obviously you don't stand in the way of a puncher like Froch, you box his ears off. Dirrell did just that. He ran but he was landing them punches while doing it and he did hurt Froch too. Froch was the only one hurt in that fight, in the 10th his legs buckled and you see Dirrell going after him as it happened, how's that running?
