  • Plans for April 23

Once again, Wladimir Klitschko is fighting on a night where there is a bigger card going on.

Oct. 2 he fought the least interesting bout on Showtime's tripleheader that was head-to-head with Trinidad vs. Mayorga on PPV.

Now he's fighting relatively unknown (one national TV fight) Eliseo Castillo up against the quadruple-header PPV debut for ESPN...

There are tons of Klitschko fans on this site, but this fight surely won't come close to being as good as Margarito/Cintron. Other PPV fights that night are Elder vs. Diaz, Mosley vs. Estrada, and McCline vs. Brock.

HBO is not advertising any undercards, even though Nicolai Valuev and Vitali Tsypko are both listed as being in the same ring as Wlad's fight.

Is the PPV worth the 30 bucks? Is the free Wlad fight enough to keep you from ordering the PPV? Or is that why they invented Tivo?

I am eagerly awaiting the return of Wladimir Klitschko. I will be watching that fight, with beer in hand. Shouting "yes!" if he knocks Castillo out cold. Making Corny fist pumps and all.

sounds like a good guy. Now you just need a side-piece with a Showtime subscription...

oh yes. He is all hooked up, Showtime and all. He even has ESPN Classics so I can catch all the old documentaries on my favorite fighters. I hope I'm nott using him for his awesome cable hookups. You don't understand the greatness of this situation. I get to see MOrales. I get to see Vitali. I get to see Toney. I get to everyone and everything and directly after fights I get to make out . I think he's a keeper He's got everything station wise but he's not really a boxing fan himself.

Boyfriend? So you're a girl, or a gay man. Either way I had no idea boxing had many fans in either demographic. Welcome aboard either way!
