Tavoris Cloud vs Zsolt Erdei

Tavoris Cloud said he wont wait to fight Dawson this time around and is willing to fight anyone at 175 as well as go over seas to Germany to fight Zsolt Erdei. Gotta love his hunger.

Erdei has a fight coming up in Nov, assuming he wins, this is a possibility if Cloud cant get the Dawson/Johnson winner.

Other than that there aren't many immediate options for Cloud. Jean Pascal & Adrian Diaconu are fighting each other in December and Hopkins & Jones are booked till at least early to mid next year. Yusaf Mack may be an option as well.

I would love it but Erdei moved up to cruiser for his next fight.

He will not defend his lineal belt against a threat of any sort at light heavy, Natas.

That would be an interesting fight. It is interesting to see what Cloud will do, he just needs to keep fighting and moving forward building his own name. Erdei would be a quality scalp for him no doubt even if it really doesn't help him much with recognition.

Cloud should fight Glen Johnson and Tarver even though they may become Dawson's left overs. It's the only way that the networks are gonna get behind a Cloud-Dawson fight.

I just finished reading a great article on Tavoris Cloud in the latest Ring Magazine and he's quoted saying he would fight Erdei in Germany. I guess the article was written before Erdei decided to move up to Cruiserweight (that's the only problem with the Ring Mag is "new" magazines are a bit outdated already!).
