Cotto is too slow..

I think this is one of Cotto's best assets. He's very clever at making you think he's slow by the way he moves around, the fact that he just looks like a big mean tank. Yet he's beat fighters to the punch that are fast themselves, Mosley, Judah. I think his handspeed is very underrated and part of his great timing has to do with his miscalculated handspeed by his opponents. They think they are safe to throw a shot, only to get a countered by a quick left hook.

people claiming he's slow cuz they watch his training videos..look semi-******ed..

because like EL P. said..he creates the illusion to make u believe that..and some people who've fought him can tell you..that his timing and speed is NEVER expected..

so I hope Pacquiao is as dumb as some of you posters and try to act like he's just a "Slug" and watch the lil man get beat to the punch and get dropped!

cotto looked fast vs tony, but everyone does..

however, i though cotto looked damn fast during mosley, if he can bring that speed he should be able to pull it off

Look, I see this fight playing out one way for both. Either for Cotto, he's able to easily match Manny's handspeed and takes the fight to him(which he should being the bigger man) I don't believe he's gonna try to counter punch. Not when he's throwing 65 punches a round was it? Or Manny's gonna come out a like a tiger, throwing huge strong combos and moving before Cotto can react or get out of the way and gets completely blind sided by Pac's odd angles and in and out, side to side motion.
