I don't know what you guys are talking about. He looks plenty fast to me. In fact, if real boxing were training camp videos, Pacquiao would land 300 punches before Cotto threw one.
[Video] Pac look BIG but slow?! Top rank vid.

He doesn't look that slow, but there is 2 weeks till the fight anyway and it might have just been an off day for all we know. Or he might have been warming up.Comment

lol, he was barely trying...he was clearly showing off for the cameras and audience. In one shot he was smiling at Roach when people were taking pictures as if he thought it was a joke. As calm and controlled as he was, he was still throwing punches faster than 90% of all welters- if he was trying, the cameras would not be able to capture his punches.Comment

i think you all are making too much of this video...pac will come in at a lighter weight than he did against hoya...so what are you talking about "added weight"...he is basically a welterweight now...Comment

He looks slower than some other videos, but training days can start slowly and pick up pace. In media workouts boxers often operate at a lower work rate on purpose. But, the main problem I see, considering the way he's throwing his 3 punch combo, is that he's open to the type of Marquez uppercuts that Cotto seems to be practising in his training vids. Could just be an illusion though, we'll have to see on fight night.Comment
