Cotto can win by decision IMO. It's in Vegas and their judges tend to favor the aggressive fighter. If Manny realizes in the first few rounds that Cotto can hurt him and opts for a more defensive strategy we will see Cotto stalking Manny around the ring and probably winning those rounds. That's not what I foresee happening (I think Pac will engage and will get messed up) but it is possible.

Yes this is probable, but it could happen the other way around. Foreseeing it doesn't mean that, that will surely happens and maybe I'm not sure whether the way you foresee things are somewhat biased or not, but who knows, we will know come Nov. 14.

a lot of people here think this is new for cotto to talk like this. he has talked like this before, is not overconfidence is just plain belief in what he can do.

manny has said before for this fight that he will ko cotto then on the next interview he say he will do his best and so forth. nothing wrong with that... cotto is counting above all on his power along with his skill to trump manny's speed and power...

i would be willing to be that the majority of the poeple who say cotto will gas have only seen his last 2 or 3 fights.

And it happened you don't have it, how come? Dude, Pac never underestimated his opponent and he never predicts whatever outcomes it maybe. He only says 'I will do my best to become victorious, hence, if the opportunity comes in and I was able to knock out my opponent then, that is a bonus for me.'

One guy called Hector Velasquez fought Manny at 130 and before the fight he said that he was the bigger stronger man and that he would bulverize Manny... hey! he even screemed at Manny face and raised his hands altogether like he was going to eating alive, this was after he landed a clean punch on Manny in the 1st or 2nd round but get what? same history over and over again Pacquio end up knocking out another man that tought that because of his size he would push Manny over.

Cotto claims that Pacquiao is a Featherweight, so that means he needs to win this fight handily. And even if he does, it is not impressive given the size difference. Pacquiao will beat Cotto though if he can take the fight in the later rounds because Cotto is a front runner.
