He isn't too big for 147. He makes that weight comfortably.

He probably makes it more easily than Shane and Clottey does.

Question: If Williams has wins over Margarito, Quintana and Winky Wright, how is he an up-n-comer? That is a pretty good resume. He beat the guy that destroyed Cotto.

I wanna see that lanky ass mf fight Floyd. Now that would be an interesting fight. Majority of PW fans are also Floyd fans but you rarely see them saying they want to see those two fight.

As for exciting, I wouldn't put PW in the class of exciting. Exciting is having the power to end fights with one punch, he just overwhelms people with activity, ala Juan Diaz.

Hi Al, I agree with your post, you addressed all the qualities of a star athlete. Paul Williams gets my respect; he has consistently offered great entertainment factor, he can box, his workrate is amazing, and the potential to be one of the best today.
