He fought in the lower weight classes when he was in his early 20's. His body was still growing.

Castillo moved up in weight after his second Floyd fight.
Chavez had been at that weight for LONGER than Floyd had.
Mitchell was a career Jr welter and it was Floyd's first fight tehre.
Floyd is a natural 130 guy, where he had his first 18 fights.
