floyd is easily caught in his very own lies. he finally admits it's about paying the bills when he said he had no financial problems. it's clear now he doesn't want to risk his undefeated record. specially, when he brought it up to defend himself in the argument. he is scared of pacquiao, he is scared of cotto and he is definitely scared of shane.

then you have him downplaying the weight factor in boxing, basically saying it didn't mean **** when he fought marquez... yet he complains about it when they suggest he should fight bigger opponents. lol. mayweather easily and repeatedly contradicts himself and like they said, it will tarnish and damage his reputation and legacy. sad, because floyd is one of a kind fighter who COULD go down as one of the greatest. it's sad that boxing has become a business and it's no longer a sport.

But in the interview with Brian Kelly, floyd said he didnt fight mosley beacuse of his 5 losses.

Then later in the interview he mentioned he doesnt want to fight paul williams because he lost to quintana, and everyone is beating each other.

Two points:

1: If a Williams fight was to be at 160 it would be the same for Floyd as it was for JMM. So if the JMM fight was fair at WW then a Williams fight at 160 is equally fair. That's not a double standard.

2: If the fight is at 147 then it's to Floyds advantage given the fact that he's a big WW and Williams would have to drain himself considerably.
