i have seen aragh around here before i registred, he is a good poster and i agree with most of what he said. imo he got banned simply because he was Russian and no other reason. its ok for americans to constantly bash and hate europe and russia but when one does it back its a straight up ban.

Poet, just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean you're the one who knows what he's talking about and the other guy knows jack ****. That's the second time you've told me I don't know anything about this sport, and I think maybe you should consider that I've been a boxing fan since about the age of 6, though didn't watch many fights until I was 9 or 10. And about the years I missed were between '82 and '93 while I was in the military, and even then, I caught most of the fights during those years either on video replay, or a satellite broadcast on one military base or another. And while there may be certain aspects of the sport that I'm not as well versed on (mostly stuff that only those actually inside the sport are very knowledgable on)

And I've been watching religeously since I was about 4 or 5 which is circa 1972-73. I think I trump you in number of fights watched and analyzed. If you don't wish to be labled as someone not knowing jack **** then please refrain from making ignorant statements like "the Tyson that Lewis fought was prime Tyson". That just screams of someone not knowing jack.

I've been an expert at analyzing a matchup since roughly the age of 16, and when I tell you that Tyson would've gotten his ass handed to him by a prime Lewis no matter which "version" of Tyson stepped into the ring against him, you can pretty much bank on me being 99% correct. I've been analyzing matchups and betting on this sport since the mid '80's and have made a ****load of money doing it. I'm not as active as I once was (having 2 kids in college and 2 going there soon makes you much more conservative with your bookie), but I still make the right call about 9 out of 10 times.

Think highly of yourself do you? Are you some sort of narcissist? Because that's what you're coming across as. Are you planning to brag about your income now? I disbelieve 99% of what most posters claim about themselves as I've seen far too many internet junkies create fantasy lives about themselves that are completely disconnected from reality.

Tyson was easily still in his physical prime when he fought Douglas, Lewis, etc.

Now, having said that, if you have some reason to actually believe that I'm wrong (something other than "Tyson was an animal" bull**** that most Mikey fans come up with), then state it, and I'll tell you why I think I'm right. But the "You don't know **** about boxing" stuff is childish, and if that's all you got, don't bother.

For starters, "physical prime" is different for every fighter so that argument doesn't wash. Even being generous and crediting the Douglas and Ruddock fights as being "prime" Tyson (and most would argue with that), I can think of NO boxing expert that considers post-prison Tyson prime and just about all of them consider him completely shot by the time he fought Lewis, Williams, and McBride.

Lennox Lewis beats any version of Tyson, he was too big and too strong with a greater technical boxing brain. Of course Americans on Tysons nuts will never believe this. Lewis beat Holyfield, Tua, Tyson, Bowe (sparked him out in amateurs) who did Tyson beat??? tomatoe cans thats who

and had they met in Tyson's prime (which they did, in reality, though most don't feel that way), he'd have ruined Mike long before Douglas ever got hold of him.

I think Lewis would out box him. Tyson had trouble with tall opponents with a long jab. Even in his earlier fights, when he was a teen, he still had trouble with srubs with a jab.

Mentality focused and well prepared Mike Tyson was unstoppable.

Buster douglas, an average fighter with reasonable defence and jab beat up, intimidated and stopped a prime Tyson.

Lewis can do the same.

Imagine Buster Douglas, with more height, strength and power and you have lennox lewis, who would destroy Tyson
