Manny Pacquiao Makes a Huge Impression in Sparring

Trainer Freddie Roach and conditioning expert Alex Ariza can’t seem to run out of superlatives to describe how pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao is doing in preparation for his “Fire Power” showdown against WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on November 14. Roach said Pac was already 95% there physically, but only 15% mentally.

If Pac can get there mentally to execute the plan Roach has outlined, then Cotto's in deep trouble.

He said Roach noted that the whole day's rest made him look "completely different in his face, the way he boxed today. He looks so strong adn energetic like a whole different person."

I wonder what kind of "rest" that was.

You need the right strategy to beat the Pacman and Nacho/Marquez are the only two successful enough to know Pacmans style. I just dont see Cotto keeping up with the speed, intensity, volume of punches, head movement, foot work, in and out. Cotto just isnt on that leve.

Sure Cotto beat the speed before in Mosely but Mosely didnt fire in combs like Pac will. Also, the Mosely fight was a split decision tellin you the speed of Mosley was close enough to winning that fight.

Pac is taking this one, im so damn certain on that. He's gonna be toooooo much to handle for Cotto.

You Hate Pacman, then you hate the sport of boxing to not appreciate the excitement, energy, intensity, while still showing class in and outside the ring that Pacman brings.
