This is why I love Pual Williams. And if he goes out and gets spanked then I'll be sad we don's have him around the same way to talk trash, call people out and 'get ducked' all the time. But right now, I'm glad it looks the way it does. This is what boxing needs right now more than ever and I hate to say it. I very much respect the guys like Marquez and Pacquiao who are gracious and sportsmanlike--it's the right way to be as an athlete and a man. But somehow it's different in boxing. It's a 'fight game' after all and somehow the world likes it better when the blows start getting thrown in the lead up to the fight.Comment

I like Williams but ppl are afraid of fighting cause the purse. He is a high risk fighter and wants to get paid (deservingly so). His opponents are all complaining of what they are gonna make in the fight. If this fight falls thru Williams has to fight somebody to keep busy, with his style he can't sit on idle. The question I have for all thee people saying PW should rubbermatch Quintana. Why don't you all mention Quintana's name outside of a rubbermatch? Why? Because you all know he is a bum. As someone said before. No one called for a Jones/Griffin trilogy. No one called for a Lewis/Rahman trilogy. But all the puerto rican fighters wanna see Quintana get scortched again.Comment

as much money as he's ever made.....
i do recall clottey calling williams out on several occasions, and indeed saying, "paul williams is a weak WW..."
now the fight comes along, on the SAME DATE clottey was supposed to be fighting anyway, making 3X more than he's ever made, AND CLOTTEY TURNS THE FIGHT DOWN......
facts are facts. clottey can feed you dudes all the excuses he wants, but like i said yesterday, given his past comments, and the facts i just listed above, there's no reason clottey shouldn't have taken this fight....other than he's scared to get that ass beat....

Calm down dude, I do agree that Clottey didn't take the money, what I mentioned that everybody is complianing about it cause P Williams is a very high risk fighter.
