If Cotto doesn't up his punch count Pac will be able to outwork him. Pac doesn't ever stop, if Cotto does Pac will swarm him.Comment

glad he's doin it, but only cuz i think it could help with making his stamina better, it wasnt bad but it wasnt great either. If u have watched cotto enough u would know he's not dumb in the ring, i dont think he gonna throw 65 meaningless punches per round. if he does throw 65 u can bet he makes all of them count.Comment

It doesn't necessarily mean he will be throwing 65 per round. They're probably really working on his endurance just in case he has to switch gears and fight at Pac's pace.
Cotto's game is all about timing and throwing the right shot at the right time. I think this might backfire if he puts in a high workrate early. He might fade in the later rounds. You have to consider the extra weight loss, as well and the possibility of a big jump in rehydrated weight.
I just don't see 65 per from Cotto for 12 rounds.Comment

They're not saying hes going to throw 65 punches every round. If Pacquiao decides to throw more than 60-70 punches, chances are he's going to be trading with Cotto which Cotto will gladly accept.Comment

He averaged 60 punches per round and landed a not so great 25%. Course that was against a very tight defense.Comment

If Cotto can do 65 punches per round in his camp thats good for him... The question is, how many of those punches can he land on Pac? He'll gas out after the third round if he'll try to do that on fight night. Pac by TKO!Comment
