On November 9th WWE Raw heads to United Kingdom. The event will take place at Sheffield Arena and the guest host of WWE Raw for that night will be none other than Ricky “Hitman” Hatton.
The wrestling promotion told SunSport that the British boxer will host the show when WWE Raw heads into South Yorkshire in November.
He won’t be the first boxer to take part in a WWE event. Floyd Mayweather Jr, who defeated Hatton by 10th round TKO, hosted WWE Raw last August.
Vince McMahon wanted a Brit famous enough in the United States to host the show, so Ricky Hatton was the most logical choice having been the star of two HBO 24/7 series and doing big numbers on PPV with his fights against Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
