If Pac couldnt make weight, why did he fight in the first place? Why not move up?

Cause he didn't realize he couldn't make weight until it was too late. Why else? This is not exactly the first time it's happened in boxing. He learned from his mistake and has only lost a close decision to Morales since then. He fights close to his natural weight now and it's paid off greatly, just as it has for Floyd.

It's common knowledge to anyone who can see past the end of their own nose that Pacquiao was severely weight drained in that fight. The fact that he was knocked out by a nobody, but since then has fought and beat much higher caliber opponents (including some very good body punchers) should tell you something. That loss was due to being drained.
