Whats The Boxing Worlds Perception Of Muay Thai????

I know the boxing world isn't crazy about the world and culture of mma due to its grappling due to the fact that it stops the momentum.

Since there is always the boxing/mma talk I am wondering what do you guys as boxing fan think of muay thai ONLY and what have other boxers and promoters general perception of it.

Muay Thai is a very aggressive and sort-of-wild style. Very cool though because it uses knees, sharp kicks, elbows and punches. Mixed with boxing it can be excellent for all-around striking skills. I respect all fighting styles. I think MMA is awesome, but I hate seeing guys roll around on the ground.

It's not boxing, so therefore it isn't worth my time.

I always wanted to be able to kick to the thighs and shins like they do.

Awesome powerful low kicks can destroy ur opponent if u know how to do it.

I prefer Muay Thai to kickboxing.

But if you're a world class athlete you could:

            A) Make millions of dollars in the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc.
            B) Make millions of dollars sitting on the bench in the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc.
            C) Make millions of dollars in boxing
            D) Get ****ing kicked in the face in MMA or muay thai

It therefore stands to reason the best athletes don't do that ****.

I like Muay Thai. Of the combat sports I've watched live (Boxing, UFC, Strikeforce, Muay Thai), it had the most entertaining fights.

Other than boxing, it's my favorite of the fighting sports.

Muay thai/kickboxing is good. Watch K1 fights and see.
