Nah it was just his face and the accent and I didnt appreciate his abilities. Now I see it different. He is kinda like Floyd, He has very good skill but never really tested it. I would love to have seen him fight the road dog and his non stop pressure and maybe now chad dawson. I think he beats both but it would have called for nice fights and bigger tests than peter manfredo.

As for this "slaps" thing, it's played out. Joe hit harder than he was ever given credit for.
Yeah but its still funny. I guess it was his awkward style. It looked like he was just flining his arms wildly but if you take a really close look at RJJ face I think just maybe you can see some damage hahahah

I'm sure the Manfredo fight was all about extra exposure for the American tv, considering Manfredo had just competed in the contender.

really? So him fighting at 160 for damn near 20 years is LHW? lol, ok. If anything Calzaghe was more of a natural LHW since he walked around at 190, whereas hopkins walked around at 165-170 for most of his career.

Doesn't matter though everyone fights at weight classes lower than what is "natural." But hopkins stayed in shape year round and between fights would always weigh around 160+

Hopkins was a *****. I guess it took him 20 years to bulk up so he could compete as a lhw!

So now he had to bulk up to be LHW? Before you were saying he had to slim down from LH. You don't even know wtf you're talking about.

Hopkins was always a slim dude, look at his legs especially. Very thin legs and his waist size was always very thin (27-28 inches).

His body type and him being tall allowed him to be able to bulk up and be successful at 175.
