Manny Pacquiao, Freddie Roach Interviews on Cotto Fight

BOB ARUM: As we come down the home stretch here I know everybody is excited. This fight has received more attention and more interest I think than any fight in the last five or ten years. I think people are really interested in this fight because there is so much to talk about – their styles and their training in the different parts of the world. Interest in boxing is due to Manny Pacquiao’s rise in the sport. Manny Pacquiao has passion and is a unique fighter. He just won the very prestigious Gusi Peace Prize given out in Asia and of the 17 people that have received this award he is the only athlete. That is great for the sport and congratulations. Freddie Roach is now the model for all trainers and people now realize he is the best trainer in the world and it is a great privilege for me to introduce to both of you Manny Pacquiao and his trainer Freddie Roach. The build-up is boring somebody on Cotto's side need to talk some ****.

If you notice, these are 2 warriors that bring their actions to the ring not with their mouth.
The fact is that it has been only Roach who has done the talking besides the promotor. That's how it will be until fight night.

Roach and Pacman have just taken away all the excuses possible regarding training camp. Distractions, Typhoons, internal fights, not being trained properly or with enough time are no longer excuses that Pacman fans can use.
From Cotto's side there should be no excuse either so let the best man win!!!

What PAC achieved at a lower weight classs has no meaning in this fight and people need to realize this. Cotto is not impressed PAC's victories against Hatton, an aged DLH! Cotto is going to surprise MANY critics by boxing with the so called boxer. I honestly believe PAC huggers are so BLINDED they easily assume MP will not be touched at all in this fight! MP could have all the skills in the world but is fighting in a division way above his natural limit. It's like a grown man hitting a child and people forget that aspect. Look at the pitty pat punches MP threw against DLH! It took 9 rounds to finish an OLD DLH. Now, against a prime LEGIT WW those pitty pat punches will have no effect on Cotto. MP will fold under the pressure not knowing how to ADAPT while fighting! Team Cotto is PISSED and waiting for the 14th to put a WW whoopin on this kid! COTTO will not have any mercy on this kid and possibly retire MP from boxing from the brutal beating.

Funny how manny's prevoius fights are irrelevant (according to you) and we're supposed to believe you? This is not the first time the Pac goes up in weight and so far he's been successful with it. Sorry mate but his previous fights are not irrelevant.

I agree with you 100%. Cotto's got this and he knows it. I loved his attitude during the 24/7 show. He looked like a mean moda fucca. It doesn't give a ****k what people think. He's gonna go in their and kiss some Asian ass...

That's like comparing Cotto's victories when he fought at lightweight. It is irrelevant. Trust me mate, your boy Pac is gonna get punched right back at 140 lbs. He has no business fighting the likes of Cotto, Clottey, Mayweather, Mosley etc. He fought four overrated boxers in his last four fights that would not stand a mili second against Cotto.
