Spinks would brutalize Joe. Too big, too fast, too strong.
Joe would feel his size at 175.

Spinks is one of the best ever at 175. Some might forget that and only look at the only loss of his career.

Spinks was as ackward a fighter as Joe and he'd present Joe with moves and angles that he'd never seen before. Add also concussive power in either hand that Joe would have to respect.

I see a decision for Spinks and he'd score a kd or two on the way.

        Spinks would decapitate him.

Then proceed to get brutalized by Tyson.

            Spinks.

He was an amazing fighter and has become disgustingly underrated by the general public and casual fans.

Not so much by boxing fans with a better sense of history, they for the most part give him his props.

Yeah, people refer to him as the guy Tyson destroyed, and not one of the if not greatest LHWs of all time.

I'm not even sure if Spinks is really even that much bigger actually. Very tall, yes, but not in terms of weight.

Calzaghe struggled to make 168 with 30 hours to spare, while Spinks spent much of his time making 175 with only 8 hours to spare. Go back to the old rules and Calzaghe's most likely a LHW for much more of his career.

Plus, Spinks regularly weighed in well below 175 for title defenses, even weighing 170 shortly before moving up to heavyweight. If Spinks had the desire to stay at LHW for longer, he probably could've for quite some time.
