2 whole pounds...since the fight is at 145 it must not be a true welterweight fight.

    I can see it now...
Very valid point my friend but if you think that 2 pounds doesnt make a difference then ask yourself this

Why does manny and his camp only sign on to fight Cotto if the weight limit is 145 and then tax him $1mill for every pound over? IF its only 2 pounds why not just say *** it im weighing 144 and you can weigh 147. If its just two pounds like you say it should make a difference if Cotto weighs 147 and pac weighs 144ish right?
SO according to your logic its ok to have signed the contract for a limit of 147 cause its only 2 pounds right?

why not let him weigh in at the WW limit of 147 and if your ass wants to come in at 140-144 then so be it.
Dont get me wrong. If manny beats cotto then its awesome but floyd is going to fight a man who 2 years ago was fighting at 130?

wasnt Floyd figting at 154 2 years ago and 2 years before that at 147???
so what. why does where they were fighting two years ago matter? this is now, and pacquiao has matured into the best 140 pounder in the world and has the opportunity to assert himself as one of the top welterweights on november 14th. if he wins then the whole too small thing gets thrown out the window as he's shown he can beat a BIGGER man than floyd, who also happens to be one of the best boxers in the world.

Floyd will destroy Pac (that will be the only time I cheer for him to kick ass) and he can beat Cotto, Mosley, and even Pwill but lets forget about the hypotheticals Floyd prove it.
i'd love for him to fight cotto, mosley and williams too. if cotto loses there's just no incentive though, and i don't think williams is even on floyd's radar. mosley fight has a decent chance of happening

for the record, assuming pacquiao looks himself against cotto i give him the best chance to beat mayweather

Mayweather should get full credit if he beats Pac, wont happen though too many haters. He wont get full credit for any victory.

Only reason I put no was because I think he needs to do more than just beat Pacquiao. Maybe beat Pacquiao and Mosley, or Pacquiao and Cotto, or whoever and whoever. I want to see Floyd take out two great fighters. And this isn't me being bias, I think floyd is completely capable of taking on whoever. Just that chance at 1 loss limits his ability to challenge himself and take some chances.

LOL at the ******s going no..

Floyd should allready have respect as he has had a hof career allready (this is fact). If Pac beats the top or 2nd WW then Floyd beats Pac, you wont give Floyd respect? what a fools you haters look like

Either way i can see all excuses for all 3 of Floyds potential opponents if he beats them:

Mosley: To old, Marg was made for him!! he allmost lost to Margyora 1 fight before blablabla

Cotto: Marg took his soul, he was allways crap (VERY TRUE) etc etc

            Pac: Too small

That was a great post bro.
I think if Floyd fights pac (assuming he gets past Cotto which I doubt) and retires (which most of us think he will) then he leaves way too many questions. We as fans are always going to question fighters careers but floyd about 135 has far too many questions left unanswered.

I would, most haters wouldn't. They'd say "Pac was a smaller, one-dimentional fighter" and "He should fight a real ww".

Of course if by some strange turn of events(like Pac having a massive heart attack right after the bell rings, drops dead, and gets counted out) and Cotto wins, Floyd beats him people will just say "Cotto's was damaged goods and he should fight someone else". I've learned that no matter who Mayweather beats or how decisively he beats them, someone will have something to say to discredit it.

                  In an ideal world. yes.

But its still just 2 pounds. Thats like.. one big meal and a drink.

I will still give Manny worlds of credit if he beats Cotto..

And that credit would carry over to a Mayweather win over Pac.
