In reality a warrior would never quit, he would go on his shield and give it his very best until the bitter end.

This is why Cotto is laughed at when he chose willingly to take two knees against Margarito, when he has the chance to go out like a warrior. The funny thing is, Cotto was labelled the “man breaking” and “beat you up guy”. Yet when he faced in adversity in a Mexican warrior named Margarito he choose the cowardly(Rican) way out. Not only was he satisfied with taking a knee, he took it in front of his fans and his family. A warrior would never quit in front of his kids. He would teach his son, never give up and always give your best shot and never say no. But now Cotto son is set up for failure. Whenever he tries to do something hard, he will just quit and move on.

Duran should also be taunted and ridiculed until the end of time. The man is biggest quitter in boxing history. Cotto at least has some form of dignity left due to Margarito punches brutalized his perfectly plucked eyebrows. Duran knew he was going to loss, but his hands up and said no words that will forever shame and tarnish his overrated legacy “ No Mas”.

But now let’s compare Cotto to Margarito. Margarito is a true warrior, no if or buts about it. He went on his shield against roids Mosley. He could have called it quits in round 8, but like a true Aztec warrior he was never going to take 2 knees or quit. He knew his fate; he knew he was going to be KO’d in front of his faithful fans. He took Mosleys brutal punches with a smile. Margarito kids will succeed in life. They will have the attitude of never say die. When faced with adversity they will laugh at it and say bring it on.

I read somewhere, that a Mexican sees death, they chase, make to love and befriend. Or something like that. Great quote
Also this is why Nate Campbell is discredited. He calls himself the The
Galaxxy Warrior, yet quit. How shameful

But if a fighter like Paulie M quit, I wouldn’t care. He doesn’t label himself a warrior. He doesn’t think he is Mancho and so on.
You remember Gerald McClellan don't you? He's was the epitome of a warrior. He's the guy who took a knee(quit) in 1995 a little too late. He's the guy who fell into a coma, is currently blind, partially deaf, unable to care for himself.

So according to you we should ridicule, taunt, and clown Gerald McClellan too? Or does your rule only apply to people once we know they are ok?

    Get a clue.

Look coming from mexican hertiage and mexican boxing all my life, I believe the only fight he went out like that was against Margarito, you didn't state that when he was hurt against Torres after a knockdown he came back to win that fight like a true warrior, he came back against Clottey with a bad cut in that fight, against mosley he made it a competitive fight, he beat Zab Judah aswell, when he was hurt against corley he came back and won that fight, when beat Lovemore N'Dou, Paul Malignaggi, and Carlos Quintana, I mean this guy is as tough as they come NOT DUCKING A DAMN FIGHTER THEY PUT IN FRONT OF HIM, Look at his career and give him credit. THE ONE THAT SHOULD BE MADE FUN OF, WAS THAT ***** VICTOR ORTIZ, ITS IN OUR MEXICAN BLOOD, TO NEVER SAY DIE AND CONTINUE FIGHTING UNTIL WE ARE DEAD, HE EVEN SAID, I'm NOT GOING OUT ON MY SHIELD, WTF, I HOPE ON DEC. 12 ANTONIO DIAZ BEATS HIM, SO THAT GOLDEN BOY WILL REALIZE WHAT A MISTAKE THEY MADE WITH HIM. All I'm saying his give the guy credit, his only loss is somewhat erased, and what a shame Margarito brought to us, I loved that fight better than all the rocky series lol,but he messed up with the wraps in his next fight.

I'd like to see you guys saying Cotto quit take beating for 10 rounds from one of the hardest punchers in the division with most likely loaded gloves! Cotto deserves a medal for not quitting before the 11th!

As I said, Cotto has fought big punchers before and got some beating and has shown that he can take it. Margarito is the first man to make a bloody mess out of him. It just looked a little too easy.

cotto is not a warrior, but he's a very good boxer who is prone to quitting if you put enough pressure on him
How is he prone to quitting when it only happened once??? but yea i know what you mean... what i want to know is how street bully can say that margarito was in a worst situation against mosley when compared to the situation cotto was in vs margo...

ima hunt that guy down and get an answer from him..!!!
