In reality a warrior would never quit, he would go on his shield and give it his very best until the bitter end.

This is why Cotto is laughed at when he chose willingly to take two knees against Margarito, when he has the chance to go out like a warrior. The funny thing is, Cotto was labelled the “man breaking” and “beat you up guy”. Yet when he faced in adversity in a Mexican warrior named Margarito he choose the cowardly(Rican) way out. Not only was he satisfied with taking a knee, he took it in front of his fans and his family. A warrior would never quit in front of his kids. He would teach his son, never give up and always give your best shot and never say no. But now Cotto son is set up for failure. Whenever he tries to do something hard, he will just quit and move on.

Duran should also be taunted and ridiculed until the end of time. The man is biggest quitter in boxing history. Cotto at least has some form of dignity left due to Margarito punches brutalized his perfectly plucked eyebrows. Duran knew he was going to loss, but his hands up and said no words that will forever shame and tarnish his overrated legacy “ No Mas”.

But now let’s compare Cotto to Margarito. Margarito is a true warrior, no if or buts about it. He went on his shield against roids Mosley. He could have called it quits in round 8, but like a true Aztec warrior he was never going to take 2 knees or quit. He knew his fate; he knew he was going to be KO’d in front of his faithful fans. He took Mosleys brutal punches with a smile. Margarito kids will succeed in life. They will have the attitude of never say die. When faced with adversity they will laugh at it and say bring it on.

I read somewhere, that a Mexican sees death, they chase, make to love and befriend. Or something like that. Great quote
Also this is why Nate Campbell is discredited. He calls himself the The
Galaxxy Warrior, yet quit. How shameful

But if a fighter like Paulie M quit, I wouldn’t care. He doesn’t label himself a warrior. He doesn’t think he is Mancho and so on.
    Flawless?? That you?

if there is no reson for you to quit and you quit then i think you should be ridiculed...men like cotto, gatti, frazier, duran knew they were beat or just felt too fustrated and they wanted to live to fight another day.....this is a sport.. be smart...take a damn knee if you are getting your ass whooped and you feel like you cant stand it no more....i sure as hell would not have blamed or made fun of collins jr. if he would have taken a knee...i agree he was amazing and defined what a true fighter was by what he did that night against resto but i wouldve like to see him fight after that....do you see where im going with this?? i like to see fighters last..i dont like to see them end their careers because they took a brutal beating.

Just remember everyone. Judah is smart for taking knees against Cotto, but Cotto is a coward for taking knees against Margarito.

if he couldnt take it he wouldve quit alot sooner. he took a brutal beating, even warriors have a limit. some guys like frazier would never ever quit, some quit rather easily.. cotto took enough of a beating before he gave in to be considered a warrior imo. and to say he cant take it is just ignorant.

im not even a fan of his but he deserves way more respect than some ppl in this thread and on this forum give him. then again that goes for most fighters. lots of people up in here battling for recognition as "the baddest man behind a keyboard".

I agree with the TS with everything except Duran. Duran quit because he was pissed, and didn't give a ****, and lived to regret it.

Fighters should fight til the fight ain't winnable no more. If it still is and they quit, it looks bad.

I didn’t bother searching because I know for a fact Cotto has called himself a warrior many times.

Cotto should not have quit homie, no ifs ands or buts. margarito was in a much worse situation against Mosley, and jermaine taylor was in a worse situation against Froch, and those two guys went out like warriors.
