I think Valuev is taking Haye out!

I've almost convinced myself that David Haye is probably going to be stopped in the late rounds.

Haye just hasn't showed the necessary world-class stamina in his career to date. He has yet to give any indication that he is capable of going 36-minutes with 320 pound man who will at least be quick enough to impose his size on him - eventually.

Haye is going to light up Valuev like nobody's business for about 5 rounds, then his workrate will dwindle and dwindle, and the big man start to get in close use his physical advantages and basically crush Haye before reeling of some kind of finishing combination of punches late in the fight.

I really want Haye to win. But his stamina is suspect beyond belief and here he is fighting a 320 pound man with a great chin and who is a strong 12 round fighter despite his percieved lack of boxing skill.

And your proof for this is...

Oh yes, it's a 5 year old fight where the naive Haye went full blast for the first 5 rounds.

or you go back to the Fragomeni fight where Haye was on pretty precarious ground, or you could go back one fight to the Barrett fight and Haye wasn't particularly full of it considering he had just essentially taken part in a one-sided 5-round beat down.

And despite all the that, you can accept Haye has went the distance once, whilst limiting himself to throwing only a few right hands a round.

I like Haye a lot,but if he proves that he can go maintain a high-workrate for 12-rounds and finishes strongly don't pretend you won't be shocked to the core of your being you slut.

Haye should be able to light Nikolai up and basically embarass the big fuck. In and out in and out, move and potshot. Holyfield outboxed him last year, and this is a Holyfield on his last legs.

But I agree. With the questions surrounding Haye's chin and stamina, there is a possibility he belts the piss out of Valuev for 6-8 rounds, then starts to slow down and get tagged by the giant's pawing, thudding punches. But I doubt it. He shouldn't even have to work that hard to beat Valuev, just move and catch as he turns or tries to set his feet.

I'm hoping Haye should just be too good like you say but whenever I picture it, it just see it going all wrong.

I probably should not have gone as far to say Haye has terrible stamina, he is a world-class athlete but he hasn't shown us up to date world-class stamina, he just hasn't. That's far more of a concern than his chin which is alright, at the end of the day most heavyweights go if they are caught right by another big man.

I hope Haye wins though, I want to be proved wrong.
