just seems like a ***** move to me, roach wont let cotto be above 145? c'mon now man

Cotto wants it at 145, Pacman doesn't care if it's a legit ww fight, at 147. Roach wants Cotto at 143, guess who prevailed? And for all we know, Roach could be playing mind games on Cotto to throw his concentration off. If Roach can remind Cotto everyday about the agreed weight, he will. Freddie wants Miguel to concentrate more on him making weight rather than the fight itself, but don't take my word for it, it doesn't mean squat...

That's a very interesting question pareng O, but I think the answer is obvious. Math says cotto has to pay a million. The thing is, just like before the mayweather-marquez fight, there is no official announcement yet regarding the amount of penalty that one has to pay for every excess pound. all we have here are speculations.

There is no way Cotto would have agreed to be 145 on the night of the fight, I think it's just a miswritten sentence, I'm certain it's meant to say at the weigh in.

It's definitely the weigh-in, bro. Some people are rich with speculations without checking facts.I say, that's normal. They are trying to play mental games with opposing fans.

              This is about fight night

That's not a writer, that's another clown masquerading, or should I say, moonlighting as a boxing writer. If what that writer said is true, that will be unprecedented. I'm pretty sure the agreed upon weight for both fighters (145) is on the weigh-in day, the day before the fight...

Gameplan for Cotto will probably be to do his normal training to make 147, dehydrate moderately, and then before the weigh in, drain 2 pints of blood (a pint of blood weighs about a pound), and then put it back in after he steps on the scales. He'll probably be light-headed and as white as a ghost at the weigh in.
