I had Pacman winning round 2 as well as 1 9 and 12, but there were a couple of more middle rounds that were close, so I can understand someone going 5/7 for Morales pretty easily, especially if you like punchers. I'll have to watch it again, but I don't think there was any robbery of any sort, and it certainly wasn't non-competitive. Pacman's speed would allow him to be competetive in any fight, no matter how outclassed he was, and he wasn't really outclassed by Morales, it was just his inexperience that gave it away for him. A few more years, and another 10 to 15 top fights from now, he'll be amazing to watch.

6 rds to 4 for Morales with two rounds even
I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch, but pacquiao migth need to get a new trainer, he looked real sloppy in there rushing in like that with little to no jab.

7 rounds for Morales and 5 for Pac... but it could have easily went 9-3 for Morales... The middle rounds were really close but it was clear cut win for Morales.. 7-5 is as close as it gets tho

Great fight - just what i like, lots of action but still a boxing match...

It looks to me like Pacquiao has the superior natural talent with that incredible handspeed and strong punching power, but Morales is just a much more solid boxer - he kept his focus better than Manny and seemed to control most of the fight.

If Pacquiao could really hone his natural talent some more, though, he'd be unbeatable.

i have it 6-6. i thought morales out scored pacman too. although i'm a pac fan, i couldn't disagree more with larry merchant on how he scored it. but after seeing it again. that fight could have gone either way imho.

i had it 6-6 also but 7/5 is clear obvious and i have no trouble seeing it, i dont know where u get these 9-3 scores though

I scored it 116-112 in favour of Morales. i had Morales winning 8 rounds to Manny's 4.
