Lucian Bute And Glen Johnson Sparring Each Other

Something I found pretty interesting: Former light heavyweight champ Glen Johnson, who is getting ready for his rematch against Chad Dawson on Nov. 7, and super middleweight titlist Lucian Bute, who is getting ready for his Nov. 28 rematch with Librado Andrade, have sparred quite a bit with each other in preparation for their respective bouts. Bute, from Montreal, went to Miami to train, which is where Johnson is based. From what I was told by someone who watched at least one eight-round session, the sparring was quite spirited. The similarity in styles of the opponents they're sparring to the ones they're fighting is pretty close. Johnson's still gonna lose though and Bute's will UD Andrade.

Thats a great sparring partner for Johnson. However, I still think Dawson beats him.

I hope that after his rematch with Andrade, Bute won't be content with just making mandatory title defenses in Quebec, and will challenege the top super middleweights not tied to the Super Six.

Damn, it's crazy how Andrade was able to take that 2 piece. Not many cats at or under 168 would be able to take that without being dropped.

IMO Andrade may have the best chin in the business. He took a beating from Bute, and was only dropped after being off balance from a clash of lead foots. Not to mention, Kessler hit him with 340+ shots.

Like Kellerman said, he's a cyborg.

He is good at rolling with shots though.

The guy said he blocks punches with his face because his arms get numb after being hit...which is hilarious because it's supposed to be the other way around where your arms are supposed to protect your head and body from damage.

Isn't Dawson sparring with Andrade? Could of sworn I read that on here.
